Principal Dentist
Dr Neerav Mandlewala is the principal dentist at Collins Street Dental. He graduated from a prestigious university in Gujarat, India, Where he earned his honours degree in dental surgery before making the move to Australia.
In 2010, he became accredited by the Australian Dental Board Council, and then settling into a private practice in Renmark.
In 2016, Dr Neerav joined Collins Street Dental, where he focuses on delivering cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry. He offers a personalised service to every patient, taking the time to listen and detailing treatment before beginning. He keeps himself up to date in the dentistry field, and he participates in ongoing development activities.
Dr Neerav, his wife Nency along with their young son reside on the beautiful South Coast, a place which he feels at home. In his free time Neerav enjoys taking his family to the beach, playing pool and watching cricket.
Layth Al-Shaer
Dentist/Hygienist
Layth is a highly skilled dental professional, who is dual qulified and registered as both a dentist and a dental hygienist. After obtaining a Bachelors of Dental Surgery and an Advanced Diploma in Oral Health, he has been commited to continued development in Dentistry with primary focus on gum health.
Gum disease is the most common cause of adult tooth loss, and about 50% of adults have some form of Gum Disease.
Layth has dedicated the last 10 years of his dental practice solely towards the prevention and management of gum disease(periodontitis).
Using the latest technologies in gum treatment including AirFlow and Dental laser, he is able to help his patients understand their gum health and achieve their treatment and maintenance goals.
Layth is also helping patients suffering from Bruxism and TMJ problems.
Since 2014, he has been serving our community on the South Coast. He is available in Kiama three times a week.
Dr Bhaumik Nanavati
Dr Bhaumik Nanavati graduated from the world-renowned dental school, Government Dental College & Hospital, Ahmedabad, India in 2007. He then went on to post-graduate with a Masters in Periodontology & Implantology (Gums specialist) in 2011. Working as an Associate Professor at a private dental school in India & Principal Dentist at his clinic, Dr Bhaumik successfully obtained his licensure as a Dentist in Australia by qualifying in the Australian Dental Council Exams (ADC) in 2023.
Dr Bhaumik Nanavati is a distinguished dentist with over a fourteen years of experience, specializing in advanced oral implantology. His extensive expertise includes dental implants and all on 4/6, digital dentistry, full arch restorations, laser dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. As a Periodontist (Gums specialist), he also dedicated his practice towards the prevention and management of gum diseases.
Dr. Bhaumik Nanavati is a distinguished member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), USA, having earned both Fellowship and Mastership credentials. These prestigious accolades recognize his advanced expertise, clinical excellence, and commitment to advancing the field of oral implantology.
Dr.Bhaumik is proficient in four-handed chairside dentistry and routine restorations. His technical skills extend to advanced intra-oral techniques and digital workflows, which ensure precision in cosmetic procedures and full mouth reconstruction. Dr Bhaumik believes in building a long-term relationship with his patients and their families. He takes great pride in his work, and he loves being able to help patients smile with confidence
Dr Leanne Phung
Dentist
Dr Leanne Phung is a gentle and caring dentist with an interest in preventive, cosmetic, and orthodontic care. She is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their smiles at every stage of life.
Dr Leanne graduated from Griffith University and has completed further training in orthodontics, providing braces and clear aligner treatment. She spent seven years practising in the Northern Rivers before recently relocating to Kiama to be closer to family.
Outside the practice, she enjoys going to the gym, swimming, creative hobbies such as crochet, and spending time at the beach with loved ones.
